Tonite I watched (again) the movie Inherit the Wind, a classic that couldn't be made today because there are no more actors of the character and substance as Spencer Tracy, Fredric March, Gene Kelly, Harry Morgan and Dick York and even thought it was made in 1960 it was shot in black & white to dramatize the specter of this true story.

And when it was finished I sat in silence for a time thinking about it and wondered at how we've changed from putting a school teacher on trial then for teaching Darwin, to today banning the teaching of a religious theme, any religious theme - how far we've come and mostly down.
