We ain't got no snow?
When you play poker you have a "tell", something that tells what you're holding or thinking, well, Mexican maids also have a tell. They all use the old fashioned string mopes and they slosh them around the legs of chairs etc. and naturally some of the strings get caught and are pulled off and left there, that's the "tell" that lets you know they've done the floor - at least that's my theory.
Today some progress, got the UV lamps working for the water bacteria filters, so that's good, the not as good; apparently the previous tenets cooked a lot and left some of the outgoing plumbing from the garbage disposal clogged. So, tomorrow we - actually, David has to chip out the wall under the cabinet to get a snake in there and clean it out. Ain't no fun like plumbing fun.
And some further good news of sorts, I found the TV remote which I ghought was still in TX in the bottom of a box, but I'd already figured out how to use the Dish remote, so no great gain there.
A friend in Denver said the weather was going to get worse, I presumed she meant snow, so I took a pic of me out on the deck and sent it asking weather? We seem to have a bit of a breeze at the moment, so maybe we'll see some rain tonite, I thought I saw some lightening across the lake, it's been dry, no lluvia. This might also test the rain gauge to make sure it's working correctly.
I discoverd a good time to go to the Soriana market, about 7pm, not much traffic and all the parking lot wash-your-car senior guys have gone home, plus parking out a ways is also a good plan.
I had figured on going to Tonala which is a shoppers paradise tomorrow, but now with the plumbing work, oh well, there's always manana.
So it goes, just another boring day in paradise.
